Description

The Stuart 7A is a larger version of the popular 10V engine. It is powerful enough to drive a large model steam boat.

Condition

The engine shows little signs of use and has been stripped down, rebuilt and tested by our own engineers. It is very nicely painted with only a few minor marks, it turns over smoothly and runs very well on compressed air. It includes a large adjustable brass displacement lubricator.

Cast Iron: Boxbed, soleplate, standard, cylinder, piston, piston rings, valve chest and cover, top and bottom cylinder covers, flywheel.

Brass: Slide valve, connecting rod, eccentric rod, valve operating block, glands, crosshead, crankshaft bearings, Oil Cups and Drain Cocks.

Steel: Crankshaft, crank webs, eccentric sheave, crosshead pin, piston and valve rods.

Height: 7.5 Inches

Flywheel Diameter: 3.5 Inch Diameter

Cylinder Bore: 1 Inch

Cylinder Stroke: 1 Inch

To power the engine with live steam, connect it to one of our Model Steam Boilers. A copper steam pipe can be provided to connect to either a Stuart or one of our boilers.
