Description

The Stuart 501 Ready To Run Boiler is ideal for running smaller sized engines, e.g. Stuart 10H, !0V, S50 and our single cylinder engines. It is a "Babcock" style of boiler with 5 tubes which extend out under the boiler to improve heat transfer from the burner.

The Boiler is supplied with a BIX ceramic gas burner which is designed to run on a 70/30 butane/propane gas mix.

The boiler is supplied with all steam fittings fully assembled and tested.

Condition

The boiler is in as new condition and does not appear to have ever been fired. The boiler has been successfully pressure tested by ourselves to 100psi. The original mild steel chimney has been replaced by a more attractive brass chimney and a BIX gas burner with copper connecting pipe, brass jet carrier and jet - OPTIONAL flexible gas pipe and adapter for connecting to camping gas canister.
