Description

The Stuart 10V has for many years been their most popular engine. It is powerful enough to drive a 48 inch model steam boat.

Condition

The engine has been extremely well made probably purchased as Ready to Run from Stuart. It is very nicely painted with only one obvious mark on the cylinder casing, it turns over smoothly and runs very well on compressed air. It includes a brass displacement lubricator with tee connector.

Specification

Cast Iron: Boxbed, soleplate, standard, cylinder, valve chest and cover, top and bottom cylinder covers, flywheel.

Brass: Slide valve, piston, connecting rod, eccentric rod, valve operating block, glands, crosshead, crankshaft bearings, Oil Cups and Drain Cocks.

Steel: Crankshaft, crankwebbs, eccentric sheave, crosshead pin, piston and valve rods.

Height: 6 Inches

Flywheel Diameter: 3 Inch Diameter

Cylinder Bore: 3/4 Inch

Cylinder Stroke: 3/4 Inch

To power the engine with live steam, connect it to one of our Model Steam Boilers. A copper steam pipe can be provided to connect to either a Stuart or one of our boilers.
