The Aries Gas Motor made by Forest Classics, United Kingdom, is an unusual model.

These beautifully engineered Gas Motors offer the following features: Easy starting; No battery necessary; Pollution free butane / propane fuel; No poisonous exhaust gases.

The Technology

These engines work on the two-stroke principle with the spark supplied by a piezo crystal. The fuel is a butane / propane mixture - a gas pipe/regulator and adapter is supplied for connection to a camping gas cannister, e.g. Colemans.

The engines have an open structure, cylinder and crankshaft being connected by two guide columns, the crankshaft runs in ball races.

The capacity is approximately 2cc and the dimensions are 180mm high by 40mm wide.

This museum quality model is fully assembled and ready to run once mounted on a base board/plate (not included).

Starting is as easy as turning the gas on and flicking the flywheel. The speed is regulated by the gas regulator on the cannister.

The engine is in perfect condition, as new, and comes with the original documentation. It has been tested by us and turns over freely with no play in the bearings, starts easily and runs well.
